IKEA Home Services assembles your cabinets. We build your kitchen.
IKEA’s installation program only covers cabinet assembly and mounting — nothing else. No demo, no plumbing, no electrical, no tile, no flooring, no appliance hookups, and no modifications. If you go that route, you’re hiring and scheduling five or six separate trades yourself and playing general contractor while they trip over each other.
We’re a licensed Washington general contractor that handles every trade — demo through final punch-list — under one roof. One point of contact, one schedule, one crew that knows exactly how an IKEA kitchen goes together. And because we’re not bound by IKEA’s standard install script, we can also modify, hack, and customize in ways their crews can’t.

A full IKEA kitchen remodel in Seattle can run anywhere between $10,000 and $70,000, depending on kitchen size, the condition of what’s behind the walls, and how many trades are involved.
Here are some realistic numbers for the different levels of kitchen remodels we typically handle:
Something to keep in mind — older Seattle homes such as craftsmans, post-war bungalows, anything pre-1970 — almost always add cost, because walls are out of plumb, floors slope, and the plumbing and electrical usually need bringing up to code before the new kitchen goes in. We’ll flag all of this honestly in your free estimate, not after the job starts.

IKEA does offer installation through a third-party contractor program, but only for cabinet mounting — not the full remodel. In the Seattle area, availability is spotty and scheduling often runs weeks out.
Most homeowners we meet started there. They realized they still needed a plumber, an electrician, a tile setter, and someone to coordinate all of them — so they went looking for an independent installer who could do the whole thing. That’s us. IKEA cabinets are a genuinely smart product at the price point; the failure mode isn’t the cabinets, it’s trying to orchestrate a remodel around a program that only does one step of it.

Almost anything. Modifying IKEA cabinets to fit real homes is the work we’re known for. A partial list of things we’ve built:
If you’ve seen it on Pinterest, we’ve probably built it. If it’s new, we’re excited to figure it out.

Yes — our workshop builds custom cabinet doors and drawer fronts sized specifically for IKEA SEKTION boxes. Any wood species, any finish, any profile.
You get the price and engineering of IKEA’s cabinet system with the look of fully custom cabinetry. Common builds: walnut slab, white oak shaker, painted MDF in custom colors, mid-century teak, rift-sawn oak flat-front. If you can describe it or point to a picture, we can usually build it.

Yes — IKEA’s cabinet and wardrobe systems are incredibly versatile, and we’ve installed them almost everywhere in a home.
If it uses the IKEA system, we’ve probably built it somewhere.

A typical IKEA kitchen remodel takes two to four weeks from demo to final walkthrough, depending on the scope. A straightforward cabinet swap can be done in a week; a full remodel with layout changes, electrical, plumbing, and custom doors takes longer. We’ll give you a realistic timeline during your free estimate.
Both. Many of our customers come to us with a garage full of IKEA boxes ready to go. Others want help with the design and ordering process from the start. Either way works — we’ll pick up wherever you are in the process.
